Seasonal Changes
As ICC's Protocol 6, directive 4 states:
"Ensure flexibility, adequate time, and recognition of seasonal calendars:
Look to Inuit potential partners to define what is needed to ensure our meaningful partnership in all work (i.e., research, monitoring). Throughout all processes, it is necessary to work with flexibility as Inuit lifestyle depends on the weather, the rhythm of animal movements and ultimately work within different seasonal calendars than many of the international fora."
