=Research Creation= Before you reach the end of this tutorial, it is important to reiterate the fact that this Knowledge-Land-Scape does not provide easily packageable take-aways on knowledge conciliation in community-based polar bear research, to be generally applicable elsewhere. The purpose of entering this scape, even when straightforwardly tracing my cuts, is not to gather take-away results, but rather to attune to the material practices, processes and spaces within which efforts for knowledge conciliation become meaningful in the first place. To consider knowledge conciliation as a material and relational repositioning rather than as a data-driven, or outcome oriented endeavour, redirects the focus away from results, towards a focus on creating meaning along the way. In accordance with such a shift, many of my research “outputs” and research creations, are shared along the way, rather than at the anticipated ending of a cut. Not only does this better reflect the non-linear nature of knowing along-the-way, it also avoid awkwardness when it becomes clear that, like all scapes, this Knowledge-Land-Scape might have boundaries but it doesn’t have determinate endings.
In such an entangled scape you have to think carefully before you "detour". You might easily lose your bearing, or not always find a path to return to your previous cut. For this reason, if you hover over the “detour” button, before clicking it- it will reveal where the detour will take you. In this case, if you hover over the button, it will show you that the detour will bring you to the “Terms of Engagement” page. Do not click the detour button for now. '''"Keep going"'''.
[[Terms of Engagement|Detour: Terms of Engagement]]
